Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Twift Chrome Extension ("the Software") and any related services provided by Khen Diaz ("the Developer"). By installing or using Twift, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License and Use

The Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Twift for professional or personal web development purposes. You may use the Software to extract CSS variables and generate Tailwind CSS v4 @theme blocks.

2. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to Twift, including its source code, design, and branding, remain the exclusive property of the Developer. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software except as permitted by law.

3. Voluntary Support (Donations)

Twift is provided for free. Users may choose to support the development of the tool through voluntary donations.

  • Non-Refundable: All donations made via PayPal or other platforms are voluntary and considered "tips" for the developer. They are non-refundable and do not constitute a purchase of specific future features or a service-level agreement.
  • Payment Processing: Transactions are handled by PayPal. By donating, you also agree to PayPal's User Agreement.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

TWIFT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY WEBSITE. USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY PHILIPPINE LAW (RA 10173 AND RELATED CIVIL CODES), THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS OR BUGS IN GENERATED CODE.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Twift for any illegal activities or to bypass security features of any website. The Software is intended for developer-led theme extraction and should not be used in automated "scraping" operations without the consent of the target website owner.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Calabarzon region.

8. Changes to Terms

The Developer reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
